Our club
About us
We’re a community football club based on the North Shore (potentially moving further south too), who specialise in amateur football teams at all levels.
We pride ourselves on having a team for any prospective player and their preferences – whether you’ve looking to test yourself at the highest levels of amateur football, or you’re just starting out, we’ve got a spot for you! You don’t have to be part of UTS University but if you are then you will receive a discount on your registration.
We play most of our mens games on Saturday afternoons and nights, and our women’s on Sunday afternoons. You can expect to be playing across the North Shore, between North Sydney and Mt Colah.
We hold training sessions for all teams mid-week to pair with the games – we normally hold those across Lindfield and other suburbs in the local area.
In addition to our on-field activities, we also look to hold a number of social functions such as club days and pub crawls throughout the year.

Milestone events
facilities
Our home field is at Charles Bean oval, Lindfield where there are bathrooms and changing rooms available. As our club grows, we also utilise various grass fields in the North Shore for training purposes.
Our associations
NSFA
UTS has been part of the Ku-ring-gai & Districts Soccer Association since 1973 as part of the Lindfield campus of the Institute of Technology. Since then both organisations have renamed and NSFA now runs football competitions across men’s, women’s, mixed, boys and girls divisions for its 30 member clubs, which range from Brooklyn on the banks of the Hawkesbury River down to North Sydney United on the northern shores of Sydney Harbour.
UTS are still proud to call the beautiful synthetic facilities at Charles Bean our home and we run 12 teams across Mens and Womens all age and 6 junior teams.
CDSFA
UTS is proud to announce we have added the option for our members to play in the Canterbury District competition from 2022.
The CDSFA covers the inner west region of Sydney with almost 30 clubs based in the Inner West, Burwood, Canada Bay, Canterbury Bankstown and Strathfield government council areas and a part of the City of Sydney.
UTS will field a small number of teams in 2022 with a focus on a fun social level of competition in both mens and womens competitions.
